Some time ago, I was browsing my emails and came across an offer for baggy bottoms. I’ve always liked that style of pants, but I thought they were only suitable for young, slim, tall girls—in other words, the exact opposite of me. Then I saw the grey Pleated Barrel Baggy Pants and fell in love. For two weeks, I kept visiting the website, but I couldn’t make up my mind. Finally, I decided to take the risk.
The package arrived quickly. I bought a size M. The fabric is stretchy, and the pants fit wonderfully. They’re comfortable even when sitting and don’t feel restrictive at all. I think that if I were buying jeans, though, I would probably need a size L.
I absolutely love these pants! And, without meaning to brag, I’ve become something of an Aelfric Eden ambassador. My neighbor and my friend both liked my trousers. One of them has already ordered the same pair, although they don’t suit her quite as well. At work, I’ve recommended the brand to three people. They were delighted with the clothing. My only concern is that everyone might end up buying exactly the same pants as mine—after all, there are so many great options to choose from in the store!

I purchased the pants for my daughter. She is 5'8 they run short. I wish I would have ordered the small instead of the XS. But according to the size chart she would be the XS in waist size. She lives in a different state so returning them would be up to her to do. I have purchased other items as well and the pants ran short but the sweaters were oversized and she loved.
