I’m a woman in my 50s with a figure that’s appropriate for my age (meaning about 10 kg more than when I was in college). I first heard about Aelfric Eden from my daughter when she asked for a tracksuit for Christmas. I was worried about ordering and shipping to Poland, but everything went smoothly. Shipping was free, and the tracksuit arrived just before Christmas Eve. Every time my daughter wears it, she meets someone who compliments her on it. Some time ago, I was browsing my emails and came across an offer for baggy bottoms. I’ve always liked that style of pants, but I thought they were only suitable for young, slim, tall girls—in other words, the exact opposite of me. Then I saw the grey Pleated Barrel Baggy Pants and fell in love. For two weeks, I kept visiting the website, but I couldn’t make up my mind. Finally, I decided to take the risk. The package arrived quickly. I bought a size M. The fabric is stretchy, and the pants fit wonderfully. They’re comfortable even when sitting and don’t feel restrictive at all. I think that if I were buying jeans, though, I would probably need a size L. I absolutely love these pants! And, without meaning to brag, I’ve become something of an Aelfric Eden ambassador. My neighbor and my friend both liked my trousers. One of them has already ordered the same pair, although they don’t suit her quite as well. At work, I’ve recommended the brand to three people. They were delighted with the clothing. My only concern is that everyone might end up buying exactly the same pants as mine—after all, there are so many great options to choose from in the store!

The pants are so comfortable baggy and have a stretch in the back so I would recommend a size smaller. The quality is amazing and it looks great . Totally recommend it goes with so many outfits:)

I love the look and feel of this pants. Unfortunately, they are huge on me, please don't size up. I've got S - hips 36, waist 26, should have sized down to XS. Unless you like extremely oversized fit.

I purchased the pants for my daughter. She is 5'8 they run short. I wish I would have ordered the small instead of the XS. But according to the size chart she would be the XS in waist size. She lives in a different state so returning them would be up to her to do. I have purchased other items as well and the pants ran short but the sweaters were oversized and she loved.

These are so well made. I’ve only bought sweats from AE so I was nervous. I wasn’t disappointed. I did swap out the buttons for some gunmetal grey military ones and that just took them to a whole new level. Sired them with an oversized sweater and patent loafers A+
